At Brink Performance Horses, I focus on building confidence, trust, and a solid foundation that sets every horse up for long term success. Whether we’re starting a young colt, working through challenging behavioural issues, or developing high calibre rope and cow horses, the goal remains the same. Create a willing, confident partner both in and out of the arena.

Through consistent training, clear communication, and a patient approach, I strive to bring out the best in every horse while building a foundation they can carry throughout their career.

This winter, I’ll be offering training Beaver Dam Creek arena while I finish my Business degree at Olds College.

About Kali ...

Kali is a western and english riding coach with over a decade of riding experience and 6 years of coaching, teaching students from complete beginners through advanced intermediate riders. To further her knowledge of horses and their care, I earned my certification in Equine Massage Therapy from Olds College in 2023.

Kali's program is built around three core values: horsemanship, safety, and connection, with a focus on creating confident, knowledgeable riders who develop both riding skills and a strong understanding of horse care in and out of the saddle.

Ground skills and obstacle introduction.

Understand why horses behave the way they do. Developing communication on the ground with your horse which translates to safety with your horse. How ground work translates to a more confident relationship between you and your horse. Understanding that your horse can "wake up on the wrong side of the bed" and how you react to his behavior needs to change based on his confidence level in the moment - not a cookie cutter response.
