Property
The property is family owned and operated for over 60+ years. Beaver Dam Creek Horse Boarding is situated on 40 acres of of the original property and overlooks the Beaver Dam Creek Valley. We are located on pavement 12 miles west of Carstairs.
Indoor Arena
This is a fabric covered building with metal trusses mounted on 9 foot high metal covered pony wall. It was erected in the fall of 2015. This style of building was chosen because the light filters through the fabric making it very bright inside but still keeps away the wind and weather.
Outdoor Arena
The outdoor arena is 4 rails of galvanized steel with direct access to the round pen and adjacent to indoor for wind protection. This was completed in September 2016.
Round Pen
The round pen is made from 2W Lemsco Horse Panels. Panel are 5' high with 5 rails. Easy access from indoor and outdoor arenas.
Horse Shelters
Horse shelters are secured into the ground via drill and tamped posts. Wood frame with tin walls and roof. Horse shelters were built in the spring of 2016.
Fencing
As new fences are installed they are built using a galvanized steel top rail and 3 strands of barbless wire.
